Jo-Anne Brown has over 20 years of experience in healthcare management ecompassing all phases of revenue cycle, managing and consulting for private practices, multi-specialty groups (including dental and behavioral health), various not-for-profits, FQHC’s, and hospitals. She is focused on enabling healthcare businesses to thrive through better operational efficiency, and obtaining financial sustainability by implementing higher standards in revenue cycle processes. Jo-Anne holds a Bachelor of Science degree with combined academia in the health sciences, community and human services, and healthcare management.
Jo-Anne has served as an adjunct professor at Dutchess Community College for the Medical Billing & Coding and Physicians Medical Office Assistant programs and is a Certified Professional Coder and Compliance Officer through AAPC. She has served as President and Vice President of the AAPC business chapter in Middletown, New York. Jo-Anne is also certified as a Revenue Cycle Representative through HFMA and has earned a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt for healthcare from the Thomas J. Watson College of Science and Engineering.
